About Costa Rica TecHub
Shared skills and career infrastructure for Costa Rica.
- Why it exists
- Information about skills, jobs, training and careers in Costa Rica is fragmented. People cannot clearly see their next step, companies cannot see what capability could be built locally, and academia cannot see quickly enough what is changing. Costa Rica TecHub exists to make those relationships visible.
- Vision
- Create the most useful, trusted, inclusive and actionable representation of Costa Rica's talent and skills ecosystem.
- Mission
- Enable people in Costa Rica to continuously develop relevant skills and connect to meaningful opportunities, through a community ecosystem linking talent, employers, academia, training organizations and mentors.
How it works
- People build a skills profile that they confirm and control.
- Organizations register and authorize the sources for their jobs and programs.
- Everything is normalized against a shared model of skills, roles and levels.
- Matches are explained: what fits, what is missing, and with what confidence.
- Aggregates are published only with privacy protection and stated coverage.
Governance
Costa Rica TecHub should mature into an institution rather than depend on one person. The proposed structure includes a board of directors, an operating team, a data and AI ethics committee, a career standards council, industry working groups, an academic advisory group and a community council.
The governance bodies are not yet constituted. No individuals are listed until real appointments exist.
Team and volunteers
There is no team or board to announce yet. This section will be filled in when real appointments exist.
Transparency
We publish how career paths are built, where data comes from, what coverage it has, and how AI is used. Sponsorship is labeled and cannot alter recommendations.
